Razzie award nominations announced

A tongue-in-cheek award ceremony aimed at celebrating the absolute worst films and performances Hollywood has to offer is back for its 28th year.
The Razzie Award nominees were announced today, featuring Bratz,
Daddy Day Camp, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry,
I Know Who Killed Me and
Norbit all up for worst picture of 2007.
I Know Who Killed Me, which stars
Lindsay Lohan, is up for nine Razzies in total, including worst director and screenplay.
It is described by the Razzie organisation as "a Lindsay Lohan 'vehicle' that proved as dangerous for its star as any car she ever ran off the road".
Norbit - which features
Eddie Murphy in three different roles - earned five nods while being noted as a "latex-laden, nearly laugh-free comedy".
Murphy will compete against
Adam Sandler,
Cuba Gooding Jr,
Jim Carrey and
Nicolas Cage for worst actor of the year, while females up for worst actress include
Jessica Alba,
Elisha Cuthbert and
Diane Keaton.
Worst prequel or sequel could go to
Hannibal Rising,
Hostel: Part II,
Evan Almighty,
Daddy Day Care or
Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem.
Those lucky enough to win a Razzie are awarded with a spray-painted statuette worth $4.89 (£2.50).
