Pure rubbish like 95% of Bollywood movies
A Customer from Manchester, 30th December, 2008
I was taken to this movie by friends who had some expectations with big names, Subhash Gahi directiing, A.R. Rehman's music, Gulzar's lyrics...but what a rubbish it turned out to be..I couldn't have nerves to watch it after half an hour and made an exit..save your time and money and steer clear of this trash, typical of 95% of Bollywood turd.

Avoid Avoid

Can't believe how pathetic this fils is - coming from the veteran director Subhash Ghai - the film's story is very poor, unrealistic, badly scripted. Salman is Salman given the shoody story. Kat is beautiful until Subhash goes and ruins her hair style. Do not watch, or, if you have no other film to watch, then simply watch it for another rubbish film from the vetaran director. Or, simply watch it for Kat (Katrina).

***RUBBISH***
A Customer from Stanmore, 3rd March, 2009
A total letdown from Subash Ghai. I think he should stop making movies after Pardes he has not made a decent movie. Even Trimurti was crap so was Yaadein and Kisna. I will send it back in the post immediately but great songs and music from music maestro AR Rahman only the songs are worth watching.

Not the best Bollywood film, but not a bad way to pass the time.
A Customer from Hamilton, 2nd January, 2009
Alas, not the best Bollywood offering! Highly Westernised, and melodramatic (beyond the Indian norm!), this film is hilarious if watched with friends! The saving grace was viewing this film in the fantastic Raj Mandir cinema in Jaipur. Thankfully, talking through a film is encouraged in India, and clearly the opinion was unanimous! Still, not a bad way to pass the time.

After reading the reviews on this website, I expected the worst, but this film isn't bad. The acting from Salman and Katrina isn't great, especially at the beginning, but they improved towards the end. Anil Kapoor was engaging and mildly amusing and I actually watched the film from beginning to end without a break - a real feat for Bollywood films. The best part about this film is the music. I actually bought the film because of the soundtrack which is superb. Worth watching for the soundtrack alone.

Music is superb.

Music was wonderful. Anil Kapoor was very good and the rest of the cast were all good in their respective roles. Fun to watch.
Half decent effort
