Top Anime

KiK from Dundee, Scotland, 13th October, 2004

This DVD together with Resurrection is a fine end to the series that rocked the anime world.

Truly the best anime ever, this DVD compliments the original series by bringing you the directors cut versions of the last few episodes.

In case you have never seen Evangelion before, the plot is about 3 children that have to pilot three big robots, (sound familiar? That's because this anime was a basis of many giant robot animes') The storyline really is complex so I wouldn't recommended it as a first anime for those who have never seen one before, but for those that have, you may need to watch the whole series 2 or 3 times before you fully understand the story.

In conclusion, one of the best anime's out there, a true classic.

I have spent about 150 pounds on this series.

This is the best manga series. The story is that there are 26 episodes, and people were dissatisfied with the ending-so 2 films were released in the cinema to clear up end points, which were released in Japanese cinema, and are released separately.I STILL HAVE NOT SEEN WATCHED THIS 'REBORN' - but i guess it is about clearing the end of the series once, and for all.The english versions are above average, especially the dts soundtrack for the second film, where they really seem to have spiced up the effects. Also they have taken no chances on the transfer, which is perfection-that is for the series. It is not about robots, but the end of the world.Maybe this review should be at the beggining of the series, instead of the ending.
