Not so Yamma

This film may have been a mega hit but in my opinion it was a mega disappointment. It tries too hard to be a James Bond film and consequently negelected to round out any of the characters or dialogue in this film. None of the key players are convincing and neither demonstrate any passion or feeling in their roles. The storyline deserved emotional performances, certainly from the Ravi & Vijay characters and this was notably lacking. The best performance in my opinion was from Shatrughan who did show some passion and conviction in his role. Even the songs in my opinion were a little blah....too predictable and not even Helen could save Yamma Yama in which Amitabh's voice is awful.
